Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Principal's Message
Since commencing as Principal of Gosford High School in 2019, I have been proud to lead a school with such a rich history. As the original high school in Gosford and the only fully coeducational, academically selective high school on the Central Coast, Gosford High holds a unique and respected place in public education.
Our school is committed to providing students with outstanding opportunities across academic, co-curricular, and enrichment programs. We foster a culture of high expectations, supported by strong wellbeing initiatives and meaningful partnerships with universities, industry, and the broader community. This ensures our students are not only challenged but also supported in a future-focused learning environment.
Gosford High students consistently excel across a wide range of disciplines, including academics, sport, the creative and performing arts, and cultural pursuits. Our school culture promotes a love of learning and encourages active participation, collaboration, and personal growth.
Our dedicated teaching staff bring deep expertise and are actively involved in curriculum development at state and national levels. Their leadership and insight provide students with enriched learning experiences and a strong foundation for academic success.
We value the vital role of parents and carers in our school community. The P&C Association contributes significantly through fundraising, the Chapman Fund, and support for programs such as the Band and Chapman Learning Centre. Their partnership enhances the educational experience for all students.
It is a privilege to lead Gosford High School. I remain committed to ensuring our students are happy, engaged, and inspired to achieve their best.
